Filling in the Blanks is looking for volunteers to help with set up before as well as during the event of their fundraising gala, Plates with Purpose, on September 27.

PRE-EVENT VOLUNTEERS:
Set up will take place from 9am-4pm. Sign up to help prepare the venue for the gala. Volunteers must be 15 yrs or older to help and should be able to lift 20 lbs. ATTIRE: Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are required.

DURING THE GALA VOLUNTEERS:
Shift will go from 4pm-11pm (you will be able to specify what portion of that slot you can work on their Google Forms below). Gala volunteers will help run the event in various roles such as check-in, auction paddle raise spotters, general support, check-out, swag distribution, and breakdown. Volunteers must be 21+ to attend. ATTIRE: Cocktail attire required, no sneakers or jeans.

BREAKDOWN VOLUNTEERS:
Volunteers will work 10p-11p to help with break down and clean up after the event. Because the time slot overlaps with the actual gala, volunteers must be 21+. ATTIRE: Cocktail attire, similar to Gala volunteers

Location: This year’s Plates with Purpose gala will be held at Serafresca at the IC, 1620 Newfield Ave., Stamford CT.

Their volunteer coordinator will assign the actual shifts within the specified time frame and provide you with more info about the event. You will receive credit for the actual hours worked.
