Thank you for volunteering at POSH, our highly anticipated annual gala! We appreciate your support in making this formal event a success. Below are the various volunteer positions available, each with a brief description of duties:

FLOWER PICK UP AND DELIVERY (Time TBD)
Pick up floral arrangements from the florist and deliver them to St. Francis High School.
You will coordinate the timely pick-up of beautiful flower arrangements from the florist and ensure safe delivery to the St. Francis gym for the event. Must be punctual and reliable and have a car that is able to acomodate 40-50 flower arrangements.

EVENT SET UP
Assist with setting up the venue before the event starts.
Help with arranging tables, chairs, decorations, and other items to create a welcoming and elegant atmosphere for our guests. Physical work involved, so please come prepared and appropriately dressed.

VIP PARKING - SECURITY
Monitor and secure VIP parking areas for special guests.
Ensure that VIP parking spaces are reserved for authorized guests only, direct vehicles to the appropriate spots, and maintain the safety and security of the parking area. Professionalism and good communication are key in this role.

EVENT CHECK IN
Assist with guest check-in as they arrive at the event.
Greet guests, check in their registration details, provide event programs, and direct them to the appropriate areas. A friendly and professional demeanor is important for this role.

SILENT AUCTION SECURITY
Monitor the silent auction items to ensure they are secure and accounted for.
Keep a close eye on the silent auction items, ensuring they are protected and that no items are taken without proper bid processes.

AUCTION SPOTTERS (LIVE AUCTION SUPPORT)
Assist with the live auction by identifying bidders and helping the auctioneer during bidding.
You will help spot active bidders during the live auction, ensuring the auctioneer can identify bids quickly and efficiently. This is a fast-paced role requiring focus and energy.

AUCTION ITEM CHECK OUT
Help guests check out and pay for auction items they’ve won.
After the auction ends, you’ll assist in verifying and processing auction item purchases, ensuring guests have a smooth check-out experience.

AUCTION ITEM RUNNERS
Deliver auction items to guests after the event.
Once the auction ends, you will be responsible for retrieving auction items and delivering them to guests in a timely manner. Attention to detail and organization are key. Volunteers must be physically capable of carrying heavy items.

EVENT CLEAN UP
Assist with cleaning up the event after it concludes.
Help break down the event, clear tables, pack up decorations, and leave the venue in pristine condition. This role involves physical labor and may go until late into the evening.

VOLUNTEER ATTIRE
Please wear black bottoms (pants or skirt) and a white top. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as you may be on your feet for an extended period.

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER DURING THE EVENT IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING AS A GUEST WITH THE EXCEPTION OF FLOWER ARRANGEMENT PICK UP AND EVENT SET UP.
