Volunteers Wanted for the 10th Annual Women’s Wine & Chocolate Walk

Here is a list of volunteer positions we have available on May 20. Some volunteer roles may allow you to participate in the WWCW, too!

7:45am - 1:00pm
Set Up Leader
Help plan details and serve as a volunteer leader on the day of event. Volunteers need to be available for 1-2 meetings before event day.

Outside Set Up
Assist in setting up tables, chairs, and tents for all booths before the event begins

Windamere Set Up
Assist in setting up decorations and finishing details in the check-in area and VIP space

10:30am - 2:30pm
Welcome Crowd Control
Welcome participants starting in the parking lot, being available for questions they may have while in line, and directing them as they exit the Windamere to their first wine and chocolate stops.

Check-in
Checking tickets and IDs, handing out swag bags and wine glasses, and other various tasks needed to welcome and register participants.

Raffle
Organizing and selling raffle tickets

VIP Server
Serve wine and chocolate during the VIP welcome reception, preference to wear a tuxedo or a nice white shirt and black pants at minimum, must be male and 21+

11:00am - 6:00pm
Floaters
Check-in with stations and make sure everyone has what they need, volunteers get breaks as needed, supplies are restocked, and troubleshoot

Server
Serve either wine or chocolate to the ladies. An apron will be provided. You may wear either your organization’s t-shirt (if volunteering with a group) or black pants and a white shirt, must be male and 21+

Hydration & Activity Stations
Serve water and assist with various activities for participants

12:30pm - 6:30pm
Shopping Concierge
Pick up packages from vendors and deliver to Windamere. One person will stay at the Windamere to distribute items when ladies arrive to collect them, must be 18 and have driver’s license

Late Check-in
Check-in participants who arrive late; help with raffle tickets and shopping concierge

Teardown
Dismantle all items and return them to DMI offices and Windamere, collect litter, and help with other tasks as needed
