Wright-Locke Farm

Help us welcome and guide the wonderful guests who visit the Farm for OKTOBERFEST on Sunday, 9/27. It's Family Farm Night with a Twist including Arlington Brewing Company serving drafts and four bands with distinctive sounds playing each hour.

Our goal is to keep everyone safe while they are visiting the farm. We had over 1500 people at the farm last year, so we could use all the help we can get.

The event runs from 2-6. Set Up & Clean Up shifts will involve moving some tables, clearing trash on premises, and readying/breaking down the event space. Event volunteers must be 18+ due to alcoholic nature of event. Younger volunteers can help if accompanied by an adult.

We will assign roles once volunteers arrive at the farm. You might be greeter and answering questions at the front table, keeping an eye on the goats, or supervising the perimeter to make sure alcohol is not taken outside of the cordoned-off event space. Bring a water bottle, and a hat, and comfortable, closed-toed shoes as you will be outside the entire event.

We will be meeting on the back patio of the All Seasons Barn at 82 Ridge Street. Please park at St. Eulalia Parish at 50 Ridge Street, a short 5-minute walk to the farm. Park in the far back, on the left-size when facing the church.
