Volunteers this is a great opportunity to spend some quality time with Chef Kelcy and Volunteer Manager Melanie. We will reorganize the basement space and kitchen space. Kitchen area will be more cleaning and maintenance, while Basement area includes cleaning, sorting and moving kitchen items to a new location in our new configured basement shelving. This will also include moving materials and items from Events storage.

There will not be a lot of heavy lifting, as we can load up wheeled carts to move items back and forth. It will be a bit of a work-out in terms of bending, stretching, and mental aerobics in terms of coming up with creative storage solutions for items. Those of you who like to puzzle out storage in small spaces, use a label maker like a pro, and otherwise give the space the TLC it deserves will enjoy this activity. This is the second of two Kitchen storage events -this second event includes completing the basement and then organizing the kitchen.

This is best for folks OK with being on their feet the whole time. You will want to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Open to all volunteers 16+. Please do not come if you are sick, as we are a small staff and need to stay healthy during our Winter season.
