Join Fred and Sally, our beekeepers, as we ready our bee hives for Winter. Bring your bee suit if you have one. If you do not, Fred has a few you can borrow. This event is weather-dependent. Rain date will be Sunday November 2nd.

This end-of-season event includes many tasks for Apiary Winter Preparation. Volunteers will be moving supers, wrapping hives, installing moisture boards, and strapping down hives. Fred will guide volunteers through each task.

You are also welcome to simply watch and learn about beekeeping.

We will be meeting at the Bee Shed located between the Winter Chicken Coop and Flower Shed (old Farm Stand). The Flower Shed is where we usually meet for Orientation - so you're just going nextdoor to that. Feel free to park at the All Seasons Barn.
