Seedling Weeding at Irving Park Nature Patch

Thursday, August 26 2021

Join PP&R Urban Forestry to help care for the Nature Patch at Irving Park. This installation of native species is the largest in Portland Parks and a growing treasure for the community.

An important part of caring for these natural spaces as they grow is to keep the habitat free from encroaching invasive plants. The Irving Park Nature Patch is beginning to see the results of seeds from nearby trees. Bring yourself and a water bottle and help us remove these tree sprouts before they establish strong roots!

Thursday, August 26, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, Irving Park.
Meet near the basketball courts in the northwest corner of the park.
