Alberta Nature Patch Invasive Tree Removal

Thursday, June 17 2021

Join PP&R Urban Forestry to help care for the Nature Patch at Alberta Park. This installation of native species was the first in Portland Parks and a growing treasure for the community.

An important part of caring for these natural spaces as they grow is to keep the habitat free from encroaching invasive plants. The Alberta Park Nature Patch is beginning to see the results of seeds from nearby trees. Bring yourself and a water bottle and help us remove these sprouts before they establish strong roots!

Thursday, June 17, 10:00 am - 12:30 pm, Alberta Park.
Meet at the southeast entrance of the park.

Before registering or attending any in-person event, please read the attached Safe Stewardship Protocols.
ALL ATTENDEES MUST WEAR THEIR MASK FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF EVENT.
