North Lake Nature Center : All About Nature” book club

We will meet at the picnic tables to discuss, “brown pelican” by Rien Fertel. This is a short novelty book about Louisiana culture, and tells the history of the brown pelican in order to tell the history of our relationship with nature in Louisiana. The book is available at the Mandeville St. Tammany Parish library on Florida being held for “The NNC “All About Nature” book club. “Adult Storywalk” Walk the boardwalk trail and read excerpts from over 30 books that the “All About Nature” book club has read. Get inspired and pick up any of the books at the St. Tammany Parish Library on Girod. All are available! Or come join the Book Club, as we add to the collection!
