Birding Bluebonnet Nature Center

December already!!
Baton Rouge Audubon will hold its monthly bird walk at Bluebonnet Nature Center on Saturday, December 3rd. We will meet in the parking lot at 7:00am. (it may still be a bit dark, but the Barred Owls might be talking)
We can expect to see our regular winter residents. So far there are no winter hummingbirds being reported from the swamp.
The weather folks are expecting mild temperatures with a chance of rain late in the morning. Please be prepared for biting insects.
There is a fee to enter the BREC park, but no fee to participate in the walk.
