Woodlands Conservancy Hike-a-Thon Kick Off

Woodlands Conservancy is gearing up for our 2022 Hike-a-Thon, held annually to encourage community members to get outside and hike, run or walk 26.2 miles during the month of October.
The Hike-a-Thon will kick-off with a Picnic in the Park event at Woodlands Preserve on October 1st. The event will include guided hikes, an art activity for children, picnic refreshments, and more. We hope you plan to join us at our Picnic in the Park for the kick-off event and spread the word to your friends and family to register and participate in the Hike-a-Thon!
About Woodlands Conservancy
Woodlands Conservancy was formed as a nonprofit land trust organization in 2001 to preserve and restore forested wetlands and other ecologically or historically significant lands in Louisiana. We own and manage 840 acres of forested wetlands in the Greater New Orleans area including the 650-acre Woodlands Preserve that includes 11 miles of trails that are free and open to the public.
