Woodlot Planting Event: The University of New Orleans

Bird-friendly native trees and shrubs will be planted in the Fine Arts Woodlot to help UNO continue its efforts to provide expanded habitat for migrating birds at UNO. Please bring water, snacks, gloves, pointy tipped shovel (if you can), and wear long pants, close-toed shoes, and socks. If it rains on January 29, the event will be rescheduled for February 12. Location: The University of New Orleans, 2000 Lakeshore Dr., New Orleans, LA 70148 Directions: From Leon C. Simon, enter campus and proceed to the corner of Founders Road and Levee Road. Free parking will be available in the gravel lots surrounding the woodlot.
