Introduced in 2020, our Annual Day of Service coincides with the National Day of Service in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This year join hundreds of New Orleanians on January 17th, 2022, to help care for New Orleans City Park by lending a hand to beautify our community’s green space. The Annual Day of Service provides opportunities to give back by cleaning, painting, weeding, planting, and more. Through the Annual Day of Service, Friends of City Park connects individuals to a small group of volunteers spread throughout the Park and provides the tools to make a tangible, lasting difference.
