We have our first Common Ground Relief out of town college student's event since the pandemic started digging irises at the Laplace site. The 12 volunteers will be digging irises from the fireworks stand site. We could use some help digging and sorting through the irises as they come to the trailer. We finish for noon, when I will head out to the LICI ninth ward iris holding area to meet up with a couple of other volunteers to finish cleaning the irises and placing them into containers with water.
