After the historic New Canal Lighthouse was severely damaged by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005, it became a symbol for storm resiliency and recovery here in New Orleans. Come join us to help maintain this important landmark!
When Hurricane Ida rolled over the Lighthouse, it took some of our grounds with it. Come help us put the New Canal Lighthouse grounds back together! The work will mostly involve gardening and moving soil. Don't forget to grab sunscreen, a hat and gloves. We will have water for you.
