It is once again time for the Baton Rouge Audubon monthly bird walk at Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. We will meet in the parking lot at 7:00am on Saturday, August 7th.
It is August in Louisiana! Please be prepared for very warm humid weather. There will also be hungry mosquitoes.
On the bright side some post breeding dispersal is underway so we could pick up the odd wanderer. Otherwise we should expect to see summer and year round resident birds.
There is a $3.00 fee to enter the BREC park, but no fee to participate in the BRAS walk.
We will observe current COVID protocols.
