Louisiana Master Naturalists of Greater New Orleans

The City Nature Challenge begins April 30 and runs through May 3. If you would like to participate at Jean Lafitte on Saturday, meet Jim Grice at the Bayou Coquille parking lot at 3 PM. Contributions to the Nature Challenge can be filed as volunteer hours on Track it Forward.

How to participate?
Download the iNaturalist app to your phone.
Once you have an account (easier done on a laptop or computer than on your phone), use your phone to join the project.
Open the APP, click on MORE and PROJECTS.
Now search (magnifying lens icon in upper right of screen) for City Nature Challenge 2021 New Orleans.
Join the group and take photos of plants, animals.
Upload your photos to the project. It is not necessary to identify the photos.
You can continue the observations until May 3.
