PLEASE LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE COMING: rlivaudais@aol.com

Volunteer Opportunity with the St. Bernard Wetlands Foundation

This is a non profit whose job is to grow out seedlings of cypress trees and other marsh trees for use in marsh restoration projects being done by others. They are the main supplier of cypress trees for the Pontchartrain Conservancy, as an example.
They have three upcoming tree re-potting volunteer events to get 2,400 cypress tree seedlings into larger pots to have them grow over the summer for planting into the marshes this coming winter.

These are the days they will be working at their nursery:

Thursday, March 11th, 12 PM - 4 PM
Friday, March 12th, 12 PM - 4 PM
Saturday, March 13th, 10 AM - 4 PM

Here is their contact information if you would like to speak with either of them:

Its past the large cow pasture, but before you get to the oak tree lined section of the highway before you get to Docville farm. Take the driveway that goes to the rear of Becky's property.
