Tackle the Tallow, keep the Greenway Green!
20th January 2020, 10 am to 1 pm
Meet at the Sojourner Truth Community Center on Galvez and Lafitte.
Volunteers should come prepared for strenuous outdoor work.
Bring gloves, a hat, and strong shoes
Wear Sunscreen and Bring water.
Garlon will be available within the hands of trained volunteers.
Limited Tools are available, so volunteers are encouraged to bring their own lopers.
Volunteers will learn to identify Tallow species and assess the risks of Tallow growth in Green Infrastructure projects.
