It is time once again for the Baton Rouge Audubon Society bird walk at Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center. We will meet in the parking lot at 7:00am on Saturday, September 7th.
The weather is expected to be on the warm side with temperatures near 80 early, and mid 90s by noon. Please be prepared for heat, humidity, and biting insects!
Early migration/post breeding dispersal has been trickling through the area. Most of our summer residents are still around, but a few have moved on. There are lots of young, year round resident, birds to be seen.
