Balloon Mapping and Marsh Grass Planting in Big Branch Marsh

Please join us as we venture out to the Bayou Bonfouca Marsh Restoration Project in Big Branch Refuge to monitor the success of previous plantings using Public Lab's Balloon Mapping methods, and plant more marsh grass. This will involve a 10 minute boat ride. We will be in the marsh for several hours. Bring plenty of water, good sun protection (hat, sunglasses) and a lunch. Boots are a plus, but our site is not very wet. Water friendly shoes are fine.
