A wonderful way to experience tech free family time is to work together in service to those in need.  The advocacy organization, Norwalk Dept of Children and Families works with children in crisis.  So why not put down the electronic devices and take on this project as a family to provide an Easter Basket for a child in crisis.  This is an at home family activity.

Basket Components

Please fill a 10-12" Easter basket with Easter Grass and the following.

Chocolate Bunny

SMALL package of Jelly Beans

SMALL package of Marshmallow Peeps

Small packages of Goldfish Crackers

Sidewalk Chalk

Bubbles

Coloring Book/Crayons/Colored Pencils

Hair Accessories for Girls

Matchbox/Hot Wheels little cars for Boys

Stuffed Easter Animal (Bunny, lamb, chick)

Stickers

Toothbrush and Tooth paste

Socks

Travel Size Toiletries

For those that are teenagers/preteens ... you can switch up some of the above items and include a

$10 gift card to Duncan Donuts or Five Below.

PLEASE only include the requested candy in small sizes.

You will also make a homemade Easter Card for the basket and sign just your first name.

Please wrap the basket in cellophane and tie with a festive bow!

If yu adopt the babies - please delete candy/other items and fill basket with baby items!

Baskets must be labeled with the name of the recipient on the outside and can be dropped off in the parish offices on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25 & 26 between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Please do not drop earlier, as we do not have storage space. Thanks for your cooperation!
