Barnes & Noble Book Fair
Friday, November 03 2023
Our annual book fair at Barnes and Noble will be on Friday, November 3, from 6-8pm. This event marks the official start of our school’s month long Read-a-Thon.
At this special Ridgeline community event, families can help buy books from the classroom wishlists, watch their student’s classroom performance, stop by the book mark making table, and learn more about the Read-a-thon. We need volunteers to help facilitate each of these stations. A percentage of the book fair purchases at Barnes & Noble will go to Ridgeline, this includes all cafe purchases too!
For each table, you will see three 45 minute shifts. This way, you can volunteer, but also enjoy a portion of the evening with your family too. Here is the schedule of classroom performances, so you can plan accordingly:
6:10 PM Kinders
6:20 PM Room 3
6:30 PM Room 4
6:40 PM Room 5
6:50 PM Room 8
7:00 PM Room 9
7:10 PM Room 10
7:20 PM Rooms 7 & 12
Serve as a greeter and an informational guide for the night. This volunteer will also help hand out stickers with the Ridgeline book fair ID number with the cashier and remind all families to share this number when they make a purchase.
Volunteer to help students make a bookmark. This station will be back in the kids corner. It's a fun and creative art project to occupy students while they wait for their performance time or just something fun to do!
