Ridgeline Montessori

The Barnes & Noble Book Fair—our culminating event and celebration of Ridgeline’s 14-day Read-a-thon is Thursday, November 6, from 6–7:30 p.m at Barnes & Noble (1163 Valley River Drive in Eugene).

Families can:
-Watch classroom performances
-Shop from teachers’ wishlist book bins
-Grab a treat from the café (purchases count too!)
-Meet other Ridgeline families and support our school

We need 4 volunteers to sign up and help as greeters. If you enjoy meeting new faces, handing out programs, and providing simple instruction, this role is for you!
-Families will stop by the welcome table at the store entrance to pick up a Book Fair ID sticker--so their purchases count. When checking out, they need to tell the cashier they are with the Ridgeline Book Fair and share our Book Fair ID number: 12915831.

***We have arranged for 2 greeting shifts, so you can pick the one that doesn't coincide with your student's 5-10 minute performance block!

6:10 pm Kinder - Singing “Peace like a River” and “Sing Peace”

6:20 pm Room 3 - Storytelling “The First Great Lesson”

6:30 pm Room 4 - Singing “The River” and “A Place in the Choir”

6:40 pm Room 5 - Storytelling “Timeline of Life”

6:50 pm Room 8 - Readings from Room 8: Fractured Fairy Tales

7:00 pm Room 9 - Poetry Slam

7:10 pm Room 10 - The “Line” Dance

7:20 pm Rooms 7 and 12 - Sharing creative writing excerpts: “The Writer’s Nook”
