8th Grade Promotion - Volunteer Help

As we prepare to celebrate our current 8th graders and send them off in true Ridgeline style, we’re asking for volunteer help with this year’s 8th Grade Promotion ceremony on Wednesday, June 4. This tradition of 7th grade families “paying it forward” allows our community to celebrate one another—one class at a time. Thank you for considering lending a hand to help make the night special, so that families of graduating students can simply relax and enjoy the moment.
Below are a few ways to pitch in on June 4.
8:30am - 9:00am
Return Chairs
Pick up the 30 chairs from Ridgeline and return to Spencer Butte

3:00pm - 3:30pm
Chair Pick Up
Pick up 30 chairs from Spencer Butte Middle School: back in by the front sliding glass doors and load from the chair rack, then deliver them to the Ridgeline Gym

4:45pm - 5:15pm
Chair Set Up
Help set up 100 chairs in the gym so that 8th grade parents and family members can enjoy the program without having to stand the whole time
5:00pm - 8:00pm
Sound booth/lighting for event
Run the sound booth, so Jesse can enjoy watching his graduate

Photographer
Take great photos to capture a special night

Hand out ice cream and fruit bars
Help hand out ice cream and fruit bars to 8th grade graduates and their family members
