Jog-a-thon

The Jog-a-Thon is one of Ridgeline’s most beloved all-school events and our second-largest fundraiser of the year! Students in grades 1-8 will run, jog, walk, or skip on the Rexius Trail across from the school, while our kindergarteners will race around the enclosed south field.
Volunteers are essential to keeping this event fun and safe for our students. Whether you can spare an hour or stay for the whole event, there’s a role for you!
Date/time: Wednesday, April 23, starting at 10 AM (volunteers needed as early as 8:30am)
We need YOUR help to make this event a success! See below for ways to help:
-Event prep
-Set up the event
-Tally and count student laps
-Hand out water and popsicles
-Cheer on runners as a course marshal
-Help with clean-up and more!

Help deliver tables, equipment, and signs around the course for set up
Provide assistance to Bethany, Tate, and Jesse throughout the morning
Hand out bracelets to students as they complete each lap
Help with the water station, handing out bracelets, and popsicles
Help students, teachers, and family members safely cross West Amazon Drive
Bikers ride on the street along side jog-a-thon course to monitor event and assist as needed. Attach speakers to bike for music!
Join students on the classroom assigned tarps and count lap bracelets as students meet their own finish lines! We need 2 volunteers per classroom.
Start each group of participants: MS starts at 10 am, Upper El starts at 10:15-11am, Lower El starts at 10:30, and Kinder starts at 10:40am
Hand out cups of water
Hand out popsicles to student participants
Pick up equipment from around the course
Assemble a balloon arch to create the start/finish line. We will supply you with everything you need!
Assemble jog-a-thon pledge packets
Make fun poster-board signs to put along the course
Spotify list is ideal!
Two coolers needed for popsicles
We need to borrow tarps for each class to have a place to gather after completing the jog-a-thon. Please label your tarp with our name in sharpie, or with a piece of duck tape. Tarps can be dropped off in the front office the week of April 21.
Gather up/collect equipment for quick access the next morning
Help jazz up the event with fun balloon bouquets. We need 1-2 people to help with this!
