THIS IS MANDATORY. At least one (1) parent/guardian needs to be in attendance. Each family will receive one (1) volunteer hour for attending. If you cannot be present for orientation, please contact Brei directly (hello@gacmontessori.org)

We have arrived in the middle of July. It happened fast. Just imagine how fast August will fly by, then we start the new school year! We have many, many things to cover to ensure a smooth kick-off.

I have reserved Saturday, August 17th in the church sanctuary to go over school policies, expectations, and answer any questions families may have. There will also be a chance to sign up for volunteer opportunities.

During this time, each family will need to have their student's file reviewed to ensure that we have all the necessary documents as required by VDSS. Families can not depart until this file review is completed. Please be prepared to supply the following:
- Most recent physical and immunizations, signed by a pediatrician. (Current families will need to provide an updated physical)
- Student Birth Certificate/Passport for proof of identity
- Parent Handbook Acknowledgement (to be provided at orientation)

All families will need to review the following to ensure the information is up to date:
- VDSS paperwork
- Emergency contact information
- Non-prescription Authorization Form
- Medication Authorization Form

Any outstanding account balances for tuition deposits and PTO dues will need to be settled by this day. Failure to do so will prevent your student from attending. Please pay through PayPal or bring cash/check.
