TMA, PLUM, SOIMA, and ACOFP: Walk with a Doc Health Fair

TMA will host a Walk With A Doc Health Fair at the LVTRise Community Center (8201 Calmont Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76116) for the local community. Students will provide blood pressure checks, glucose checks, lifestyle assessments, and health education materials at the community center, followed by an outdoor competition. Community participants will compete to see who can walk the most laps at the LVTRise park for multiple prizes. Physician(s) and students will walk with community participants for continued discussions related to health education. Dr. Maria Crompton will serve as the physician/faculty preceptor.
