Sort and Serve at the Cleveland Food Bank

HandsOn volunteers help sort and repack donated and purchased food that is later distributed to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. Volunteers primarily work sorting donated mixed perishable items and packaged meat from the cooler room. Modifications to the project may be made to accommodate volunteers with limited mobility.
Please bring a sweater or other warm clothing items with you just in case - you may be asked to work in the cooler room.
Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes and if possible leave valuables in your vehicle. Gloves and jackets are provided if we work in the cooler area, but bring a sweater or other warm clothing items for an extra layer of warmth. This project may require heavy lifting.

Coming off the highway, the Foodbank is in the 2nd building (white) on right after E. 152nd St. light. Parking is available in the lot out front.
