Ice Monitors

Check in skaters for events and provide assistance rink-side to skaters, coaches, and the rink announcer.
Shifts provide ample time for ice monitors to hand off duties to the next ice monitor. Feel free to sign up for consecutive shifts, especially in the same rink.
Provide support to the ice monitors on duty on all three rinks. Answer questions. Fill in as an ice monitor, as needed. Wear warm clothing. Experienced ice monitors and/or adults preferred.
Check in skaters for events and practice ice, including during ice resurfaces. Open and close rink door for skaters. Communicate with rink announcer. Look out for skater safety. Contact medical team, as needed. Coordinate with the current and next ice monitor on duty at the beginning and end of your volunteer shift. Please wear warm clothing.
