Tree Mulching at Tuckahoe Park

TS are assisting Park Steward Mary McLean with repair of the area around the "sledding trees" on the Sycamore St. side of the park. From either 10-12 or 2-4 we’ll mulch the bare ground to help prevent more erosion that undermines these pretty, healthy trees. These 6 trees clean our air, give us clean water, provide cooling shade in the heat, and grow acorns for animals. These 5 lovely arching oak and one red maple give us something beautiful to enjoy looking at from near and far.
