Grandma’s Creek Park RIP

Please join us for the summer invasive plant removal event for Grandma’s Creek Park. We made a good start at the previous two RIPS this spring, and on Saturday, June 24, we will continue to focus on removing garlic mustard on the east side of the park near S Pershing Drive. This little arm of Glencarlyn Park is a beautiful natural forest, but the edges have serious invasive plant problems.
Bring water and your favorite weed pulling tools. Some county provided tools and gloves will be available. Dress to avoid poison ivy! Most of the area is shaded, but hats will be helpful.
