Winter Identification of Common Vines (native and nonnative)

The hardest time to identify native vines is when no leaves are present. This walk and talk through Barcroft Park will be an opportunity to look at the vines commonly found in our area and discuss identification characteristics. We will talk about both natives (keepers) and invasives/non natives (removals) and have samples of the vines to look at while we walk. Bring a hand lens if you have one. We will begin at the picnic shelter in Barcroft Park. Walk will be led by TS and certified arborist Maraea Harris
