Pruning winter storm damage at the Alexandria YMCA and adjacent Alexandria City Property CANCELLED

Help prune winter storm damage to trees and shrubs on the YMCA property on Monroe Ave in Alexandria and the adjacent Eugene Simpson Park, a section of which is the Simpson Demonstration Garden, maintained by Master Gardeners of Northern Virginia. City arborists have addressed the most significant damage, but there is more work to do.
Bob Besse (TSAA Class of 2022) will direct the activities. Bob is a Master Gardener, a co-lead of the Simpson Demonstration Garden, and has taught pruning for MGNV.
