Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

We'll be having our monthly work parties at the Dominion Hills site this weekend and we'd love to have your help!

With the dry weather, we need to hand-water our young trees (using water from the stream), and we can start looking for and removing, if possible, spotted lanternfly egg masses. https://extension.psu.edu/how-to-remove-spotted-lanternfly-eggshttps://e... We will also work on our usual pursuits of cutting vines and removing invasives.

Gather next to 1000 Patrick Henry Drive in Arlington. Look for the "Volunteers" sign. There is plenty of street parking.

Wear long sleeves and long pants (to protect against poison ivy, insects, and thorns) and sturdy shoes (with socks). We will have poison ivy soap and wipes as well as insect repellent.

Bring water for yourself.

We will provide snacks (homemade stuff)!

Walk-ins are welcome, but if you sign up in advance, I can notify you of changes in plans, etc.
