Pie Ranch Work Days and Barn Dances are held on the third Saturday of the month.

1:00pm / Work Day
The workday begins at 1:00pm the Amah Mutsun Tribal Band's Native Garden, located behind Pie Ranch's Roadside Barn. At 2pm you can join farmers in the production fields or continue working in the Native Garden. What kind of activities will you do? The farm projects change every week and each day with the passing of the season. These tips will help prepare you:
--Parking is behind the Roadside Barn.
--Check-in at the Amah Mutsun Native Garden where everybody will join up to start.
--Please leave dogs at home. (We love them too, but this isn’t a good event for them!)
--For comfort bring bottles of water to stay hydrated, layers of clothing to adapt to unpredictable weather, sunscreen and sun hats to shade you, and wear closed-toe shoes to protect your feet!
--To pitch in, bring work gloves to protect your hands, gardening tools for working the soil and cutting plants, and plenty of enthusiasm! (We have backup gloves and tools in case you forget, so don’t fret!)

4:00pm / Optional Farm Tour
Cost is $12–20 per person.
Meet your tour guide at the Roadside barn and submit payment with our farmstand employee before your tour. Our tour discusses our sustainable agricultural practices, ranges over the entire 27 acres of the farm, takes folks in to peek at the historic Steele Ranch buildings, visits the goats, cows, chickens, and pigs and when possible, includes sampling from the fields.

No shifts have been set up for this event yet.
