Worm Composting at 4-H Life Skills Festival and Field Day

Date and Time: Saturday April 28, 2018 from 9:00am-1:00pm
Location: Messiah Lutheran Church – 1825 Valota Road, Redwood City

Help out a fellow Sustainability Academy volunteer who will be hosting a worm composting workshop at the 4-H Life Skills Festival and Field Day! Assist in leading students through a hands-on worm composting workshop and set up or breakdown of the workshop booth. This event will also include lots various activities for children including favorite foods day, arts and crafts, games, ice cream making, etc.

This San Mateo/SF County 4-H Life Skills Festival and Field Day is hosted by the University of California Agriculture and the 4-H Youth Development Program. The 4-H Youth Development Program, which throughout its 100 years of existence has helped children and adolescents acquire the skills needed to succeed in life, is implementing a series of changes that will help serve new generations of Californians.

Sign up for a shift! The Sustainability Academy Volunteer Coordinator will then put you in touch with Veronica, Academy volunteer, who will be leading the workshop!
