Baylands Bioblitz (Third Party Event)

Saturday, February 17 2018

Date and Time: Saturday, February 17, 2018, 9AM - 1PM

Location:
EV South Bay Office
1210 Homestead Road
Santa Clara, CA 95050

Join a large host of environmental organizations in the Bay Area for a big Bioblitz in the Palo Alto Baylands!

Come out to the Baylands for a day of community science and discovery at the Bioblitz. Bring your smart phone or camera and collect observations of plants, animals, birds and bugs found in the Baylands.

A Bioblitz is an intensive one-day study of biodiversity in a specific location, bringing scientists and community members together. People of all ages and skill levels are welcome. We’ll teach you how to enter observations in iNaturalist, and we’ll have lots of people to help answer your questions. At the end, we’ll join together to find out how many observations we made and how many species we found.
