Fairfax Station Railroad Museum

Semi-annual outreach activity at one of the area's largest model train shows. Volunteers sell gift shop items and donated model trains/accessories while introducing customers to the programs and activities at the museum. The Greenberg show has been an excellent opportuniy to bring new visitors to the museum, recruit volunteers and promote services such as station rentals.

Please note: Volunteer(s) signing up for the Sunday afternoon outreach shift (1:00-4:30) are responsible for assuring that museum items are packed and returned to the station.
