The day we've all been waiting and planning for! Come donning your favorite heels and let's have a great time celebrating the LGBTQ community and raising funds for the youth! IF YOU CHECK THE TIMES AND CAN DO MORE THAN ONE THING, PLEASE DO!
**Each job listed here has specific instructions to make it super easy for you.**

8:30am - 2:30pm
Loading/Moving/Setting Up
Help Johnnie load all supplies from AfA (1310 W 10th Ave.) and drive to Ace Eat Serve (501 E 17th Ave) to deliver the supplies. This will require an SUV or truck to transport. 2 vehicles will contain everything needed for Ace Eat Serve and a 3rd vehicle will contain items to be transported to X Bar (629 E Colfax Ave) at 12pm such as auction items. Person with the third vehicle will take the items to X Bar at 12 and unload with additional help there. The first two vehicles will pack up Ace Eat Serve at 12 and transport to X Bar to unload. At the end of the event all 3 vehicles will pack up and return items to AfA and unload.

Donut Drop Off
Pick up and deliver Voodoo donuts (1520 E Colfax Ave) to Ace (501 E 17th Ave).

Ice Drop Off/Loading
Pick up ice (from a place of your choosing). 8 10lb bags or 4 20lb bags. Drop off at Ace (501 E 17th Ave). Load the coolers with water and fill with ice. Save your receipt and give to Celeste to be reimbursed.

Chalking/Coordinating
Decorate the marathon route sidewalks with sidewalk chalk. Pick up the chalk prior to the event morning... Kelly T. Mark out were the fit-a-flat station and medical station are located, as well as the finish line. The finish line (at 17th and Clarkson, this is confirmed) has been represented by a big high heel in the past. Help direct cheerleaders, crossing guards, and finish line people on were they need to be located the route.

Volunteer Coordination
Volunteer Coordinator and an assistant to the volunteer coordinator to coordinate the volunteers. Meet at 9am at Ace (501 E 17th Ave) and move towards X Bar (629 E Colfax Ave) at 12:15 to assist there.

Make sure the photographer has everything they need including the itinerary and know where they need to be.

Set Up Ace
There will be 3 people bringing the supplies at 9:30. Your job will be to help them set up canopy, tables/chairs, signage, and promo materials in Ace (501 E 17th Ave) patio area.

Runner Registration
Arrive to Ace (501 E 17th Ave) and set up the runner registration table: registration, participant waivers, boas, mimosa coupons, t-shirts, runners' bags, itinerary. Register runners and get them all the things.

Walk along 17th Avenue to remind area businesses about the event.

9:30am - 2:00pm
MC/Performer Wrangler/Coordinator
Coordinate Queen MC, Guest Speaker, Youth Poets, and Performers. Make sure performers know when they are coming up, make intros between MC and performers, make sure everyone has itinerary and are in the know!

Greeters/Clickers
Arrive at Ace (501 E 17th Ave). Talk to people about AfA and Running of the Gays! Assign one person to be a 'Clicker' to count every person who attends. Once the race starts move to the X Bar (629 E Colfax Ave) and do the same thing! Clicker remember those you have counted already from Ace and do not click them again at X Bar, only new people.

PA/Sound/DJ Checker
Make sure the amp/microphone are plugged in and ready to roll as well as making sure the DJ is set up and has what they need (itinerary) at Ace (501 E 17th Ave) at 10 am. Move to the X Bar (629 E Colfax Ave) at 12 to make sure the PA system and DJ are set up and ready to rock!

Walk a purse around to gather donations at Ace (501 E 17th Ave).

Fix-a-Flat Station
Set up water bottles cooler, Flip-flops and signage on the Route. Kelly Thomas can direct you to where this is located. Run the station during the race.

Crossing Guards
Ensure runners cross at green lights and don't block traffic at each intersection. 1 person at 17th and Pearl. 1 person at 17th and Washington. 1 person at 17th and Clarkson and Washington (this is where people will head south to go to the X Bar...let them know that when they hit Colfax to urn right to the X Bar. Then have the first person move to 16th and Clarkson to help people across.

Runner Herders
Using a ribbon, run alongside other runners and ensure they stay in single file. Two on each side.

Help cheer on the runners during the marathon with pompoms along the marathon route (17th and Pennsylvania to 17th and Washington).

Burrito Getter
Pick up burritos from Torchys Tacos (will get you the location) and drop at the X Bar (629 E Colfax Ave) .
