Tabling @ the All Sacred Event 7700 West 44th Ave in Wheat Ridge
Friday, August 02 2019
Hello Y'all! We have an awesome opportunity to have a table at the All Sacred Event! We could really use some people set up and run the table to let people know about Art from Ashes and all of the wonderful things we do, pass out flyers, poem cards, business card, volunteer sign ups, Art from Ashes merchandise for sale, place for cash donations, set up to take PayPal donations, etc.!
The Who, what, when, and why about the event below:
WHO: All Sacred Foundation
- Aries Rhysing is the owner of All Sacred Tattoo and he’s also an amazing tattoo artist and phenomenal human who believes in giving back to the community.
- His wife is the owner of Ritual Cravt, a shop next door that sells tarot cards, herbs, teas, and all manner of ceremonial metaphysical stuff: https://ritualcravt.com
- Artist Alex Reisfar https://www.instagram.com/alexreisfar/?hl=en who will have his art for sale at the event
- Potential Attendees: 200-500 people interested in getting tattoos, walking around the event space, checking out art, mingling, etc
WHAT: A First Friday Art Show and Gathering that benefits Art from Ashes and two other organizations. Artist Alex Reisfar will be there selling his art (and potentially making art during the event). Proceeds from the tattoos, Alex’s art sales, and All Sacred merchandise will be split evenly between Art from Ashes and two other non-profit organizations.
WHERE: All Sacred Tattoo and Ritual Cravt: 7700 West 44th Ave in Wheat Ridge (near Wadsworth and 44th)
WHEN: August 2 from 6-10pm* (we need to be there between 4 and 5pm for table set up)
Aries and other tattoo artists from his shop are so amazing they have a long waiting list for people to get in for appointments. (Aries said his waiting list is TWO YEARS!) But at this event, he isn’t accepting appointments, it’s first come, first serve. He said people will probably start lining up at 5pm for this opportunity and he plans to tattoo until midnight to get as many people in as possible that day. Some other artists may stay late as well but he said he couldn’t promise that.
We talked about having 4-5 youth poets perform between 8-9pm.
WHY: To provide an awesome art show, gathering, and benefit for non-profits in the community, including our favorite ART FROM ASHES!
