Assist as needed to offer tutoring help or positive adult mentoring in a culturally responsive setting. Volunteers need to fill out a Lincoln Park application at least a week in advance of tutoring for a background check. Volunteers could help in either of these programs:
1. Dress for Success: After-school program offering students help with homework. Math help is especially needed (decimals, fractions, etc.)
2. Homework Club: More casual homework help in a variety of subjects. This is also a safe-space for students to hang out and socialize, so role may be to interact with students as a positive adult mentor.
Pick up will be at 2:50 in front of SCC for those signing up to carpool.
3:15pm - 4:30pm
