Country Fair

RHA's Country Fair attracts hundreds of guests from the Somerset Hills area and beyond to our Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve in Bedminster. Some of the highlights of this year’s Fair include: country music, food trucks, children’s activities, hayrides and local artisan & agricultural vendors. Proceeds support RHA’s environmental education, community well testing, stream monitoring and cleanup programs as well as research, and open space preservation.
Choose a position and shift time.
Help for a few hours or all day.
Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
Please bring a refillable water bottle.
Snacks will be provided.
Please be sure to complete the attached waiver form below - all volunteers are required to have an up-to-date waiver on file. Volunteers under 18 years of age must have the form signed by a parent or guardian.

Event day set up jobs including small tents, putting up signs, craft supplies, registration table set up, etc.
Direct Cars, Welcome them as they come in.
Check in volunteers as they arrive. Hand out information. Restock volunteer snacks during lull. (adults only please)
Work table serving non-alcoholic beverages
Prepare food at Hot Dog Stand (grill is propane operated; 18+ please)
Collect money @ Hot Dog Stand
Serve food to paying customers @ Hot Dog Stand
Assist with check-in at registration table (adults only please)
Assist with t-shirt sales during event (adults only please)
Help assist riders on and off hayride
Empty garbage and recycling cans, change out bags
Walk around to check in with vendors - make sure everyone has what they need (adults only please)
Oversee pumpkin painting, assist as needed, organize pumpkins
Assist with the sale of lanterns and advent calendars in preparation for RHA's upcoming Lantern Walk event (adults only please)
Help assist riders on and off hayride
