Meet at FOX HILL PRESERVE: 40.696011, -74.755957
We will be tackling a new intruder invasive Phragmites, the brute Autumn olive, and savage vines which are strangling trees. . This will be vigorous work and very rewarding. Please wear sturdy shoes that can get muddy and wet, long sleeves, and long pants. Bing a water bottle, bug spray, poison ivy guard if needed. Meet at the gravel parking area. Note; there is no bathroom facility or running water at this location. Please bring your tools; pruning shears, loppers, gloves, etc. Wear your mask during instruction and whenever working in close proximity with others.
FOX HILL PRESERVE: Located in Tewksbury off of Fox Hill Road south of Palantine Road. This is a very rural area with winding country roads. Please look for the green and white preserve sign and gravel parking area with wood kiosk. If you are traveling north on Fox Hill Road from Homestead Road, the preserve will be on the right side. If you are traveling south on Fox Hill Road the preserve will be on the left side.
