Latern Walk
Sunday, November 05 2017
This is a historic European festival celebrating autumn at the end of the agricultural year and the beginning of the harvest. Festive music plays as we carry our lanterns through the meadows of Fairview Farm Wildlife Preserve. Volunteers are needed for the following positions to ensure the event runs smoothly. This is a unique experience, one you will remember.
Put up tents, set up registration tables, carry supplies, add festive decor.
Welcome guests and direct them to the parking area. Provide basic info and direction to the starting point.
Direct guests as the walk from the parking area to the check in area. Then follow up the group during the walk making sure no one lingers behind. At the end of the event direct people back up to the parking area.
Assist with check in, hand out lanterns, explain how to use them, direct people to starting point, help with snacks and drinks. Assist with take down
