Raritan Headwaters Association

Raritan Headwaters Association has partnered with Hunterdon County and Trout Unlimited Ridge & Valley Chapter to improve the riparian buffer along the Spruce Run in Glen Gardner and will be planting 225 native trees and shrubs along the riverbank on November 1st from 9:00am-1:00pm. We have set a rain date for November 2nd from 9:00am-1:00pm.

RHA is seeking volunteers to help plant these trees and install tree protection to prevent deer browse. RHA will be pre-drilling holes for the trees, so no to very minimal digging will be necessary during the planting. If you are interested in joining us, please pre-register to help us with our planning efforts. When registering for this event, please also complete the Volunteer Release form below. Dress for the weather and working in an area with briars, tall grass and shrubs. This project site can be on the wet side, so please bring appropriate footwear (ideally taller boots).
