Childhood Development (Kindergarten–3rd Grade): How Children Grow, Learn, and Thrive
Monday, September 14 2026
This session explores the foundations of childhood development, focusing on how children ages 5–8 grow across physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains. Participants will learn about key developmental milestones, the role of experiences in shaping brain development, and how children's unique learning styles influence the way they engage with and understand the world.
The session will also highlight the importance of social-emotional learning in supporting academic success, healthy relationships, and lifelong well-being. Join us to learn practical ways to nurture these skills at home, including building self-awareness, teaching emotional regulation, fostering empathy, and strengthening communication and cooperation through everyday interactions and play.
Attendees will leave with valuable insights and practical strategies to support their child's growth, learning, and emotional development during the elementary years.
