All new volunteers are required to attend a volunteer training. In this training we go over the volunteer handbook and discuss how to deal with a multitude of different situations that will come up while working with the kids. It is also a great time for us to get to know you a little better as you get to know Sun Valley.

Please bring your completed fingerprint card and volunteer application to the training. You can visit: http://www.sunvalleyyouthcenter.org/volunteers to read/fill out our volunteer application and guidelines. I have also attached the volunteer application to this event information. To schedule a fingerprinting appointment, so we can do a background check. The easiest way would be to visit http://denverfingerprinting.com/ if you are located in Denver. If not, contact your local police station. You will need your ID and $15. Looking forward to meeting you and having you join our Sun Valley family.
