Mother-Son Nerf Gun War

Saturday, April 06 2019

Calling All Crafty/Building Volunteers!

This May, St. Elizabeth's School will be hosting its first ever Mother-Son Nerf Gun War! We will be constructing 2 "war zones" on the field: one for the TK-2nd graders and one for the "big" kids.

The more barriers and obstacle courses we can create, the better! The possibilities are ENDLESS!

We could work with:
-plywood
-wood pallets
-cardboard
-used tires
Just for a start....

Your Mother-Son Nerf Gun War Chair (writing to you now) has a lot of BIG ideas and a very good crafting sense. I can wield a box cutter and am willing to sustain a few injuries, but I am pretty weak on actual building and constructing skills. I'm reaching out for help!

Our goal is to construct barriers, then paint them to be camaflouged.

I am open to setting up a couple of work-together building days in my backyard or on campus, or will accept anything homemade and donated. We can have a bunch of different style barriers. There's no one way to do this!

Please email Jeni Cregan at jenicregan@gmail.com or TEXT me at 323/459-8771 if you have ideas, supplies, or availability.

Let's make this event something OUR BOYS will be telling THEIR KIDS about! As my Fifth Grade son would say....let's make it EPIC!!!!

All the best,
Jeni Cregan
