Cornhusker State Games - Gravel Grinder

The Cornhusker State Games is Nebraska’s amateur sports festival. The sports offered provide a broad
appeal to athletes of all ages and abilities, ranging from highly competitive Olympic sports to those that
are more recreational and geared to participation. There’s something for everyone!
The CSG Gravel Grinder begins at 6:30am and runs until the last person finishes the race. Typically the last person finishes around 5pm. Volunteer shifts include helping riders at aid stations or at the start/finish line. Times vary, If JEO has a group who wants to help they can be put together to manage an aid station.
Aid Station 1 would be around a 3 hour commitment from 7am-10am.
Aid station 2 would be around a 4 hour commitment from 8am-12pm.
Aid Station 3 would be 5 hour commitment from 10am-3pm. (already covered)
Individuals can assist other crews managing aid stations, at the finish line, or by taking photos of riders on the course. Shifts vary per aid station and volunteer availability.
